At least I hope it will. Any questions there will help me focus on future posts.

I'll try to keep all posts largely about concepts, but it will likely have C++ code because C++ just has more ways to get in trouble and to do some very elegant things. And it's the language I know best.Tavisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18219209081323609054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4111461084979741175.post-66063429146498130592012-01-03T04:03:48.649+05:302012-01-03T04:03:48.649+05:30Good article, especially the last big paragraph.
...Good article, especially the last big paragraph.

I am a C# programmer, so I did not completely follow (or try to follow) all of your code here, however I found your insight on the purpose of functions (to do only one thing) and that it's okay to use a lot of smaller functions to be helpful. I suggest and request that you try to make future posts more about concepts than C++ code examples if possible.

I also have a specific request that I would like you to make one or more posts about if possible:

A lot of times I find myself thinking through how I will make an entire class (for example) ahead of time, but then when I start to code it I make slight changes here and there and I completely forget how some parts of it are supposed to work. Is there a more efficient approach I can take to write a lot of code that is all dependent on the rest of the code or something?

Thanks!Andrewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03212646054546793283noreply@blogger.com
